WE OFFER SPECIALIZED TREATMENTS TAILORED TO HUMAN REPRODUCTION
We help our patients overcome obstacles to pregnancy and realize their dream of becoming a mother, whatever
moment they make this decision.
1st STEP: INVESTIGATION OF THE CAUSES
There are exam protocols that help the gynecologist to raise diagnostic hypotheses and discover the reasons for the patient not
getting pregnant.
The causes of infertility can be female, male or a combination of difficulties of both.
From there, the specialist will recommend the best treatment.
Cases of male infertility are referred to an andrologist.
"I CAN'T GET PREGNANT"
Couples who do not use contraceptive methods, have sex during the fertile period and are unable to get pregnant after 12 months,
should seek medical help to investigate causes of infertility.
For women over 35 years of age, it is recommended that the evaluation takes place after 6 months of unsuccessful attempts.
FEMALE INFERTILITY TREATMENTS
Gynecological surgeries
by videolaparoscopy, a minimally invasive technique
The presence of Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroids and other gynecological problems, with or without symptoms, can make pregnancy difficult.
In most cases, after recovering from surgical treatment of these pathologies, the patient is able to become pregnant naturally.
Low Complexity Assisted Reproduction
in which fertilization occurs
naturally
Stimulated Programmed Coitus: ovulation is stimulated with inducing medications, controlled by ultrasound, and sexual intercourse at home is programmed for the most fertile period.
Intrauterine Artificial Insemination: hormonal stimulation is used to increase ovulation levels and, at the appropriate time, sperm previously selected in the laboratory are introduced into the uterus.
High Complexity Assisted Reproduction
in which fertilization occurs in the laboratory
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF): hormonal stimulation is used to stimulate the growth of follicles, with ultrasound control.
At the right time, the eggs are collected and fertilization takes place in the laboratory.
The fertilized eggs are transferred to the mother's uterus, or frozen to be transferred at another time.
"I WANT TO PRESERVE MY FERTILITY"
Deciding to get pregnant late is increasingly common in today's society.
However, female fertility (i.e., her ability to get pregnant naturally) gradually reduces from the time a woman is born, and even more rapidly after
the age of 35, with a decrease in ovarian reserve and egg quality.
If motherhood is part of your future plans and the woman just wants to postpone pregnancy, it is important to consider preserving sexual gametes before the age of 35, that is, freezing eggs for later use, when the decision to become
pregnant is made.
EGG FREEZING
Clinical Assessment
It is necessary for the patient to undergo preliminary examinations, such as ultrasound and hormone dosage, so that the gynecologist can assess whether she is capable of undergoing In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in the future.
Hormonal Stimulation
Medications are administered to stimulate the ovaries, causing the production of a greater number of oocytes (eggs), to inhibit menstrual bleeding and to stimulate ovulation, which is monitored by the doctor.
Egg aspiration
The eggs are aspirated in the laboratory and frozen using a process called vitrification (quick freezing) in liquid nitrogen, until the patient decides to implant them for a possible pregnancy.
